Paul Hand is an Assistant Professor of Computational and Applied Mathematics at Rice University.  His research includes the design and analysis of algorithms for signal recovery problems arising from imaging and vision. He received his B.S in Applied and Computational Mathematics from Caltech in 2004 and his Ph.D. in Mathematics from NYU in 2009.
